This week, swombat.com will be host to four guest articles by entrepreneurs.
The focus will be that ever tricky topic of how to get leads for your business. Leads are the life-blood of a business. Without leads, there are no sales, and without sales, there is no cash flow. Whether you're starting a freelance consultancy or the next Salesforce.com, you'll need to figure out a way to acquire leads in a repeatable manner.
There will be a definite focus on B2B-relevant methods, because it is a larger market, it is often easier to build your first business selling to other businesses, and therefore it is, quite rightly, a favourite among new entrepreneurs.
The articles (which will be hyperlinked from here as they are published) will be:
- Networking without going places by Jacques Mattheij
- Generating B2B and B2C leads systematically by Iqbal Gandham
- How to network effectively by Paulina Sygulska
- How to attend a conference by Kevin McDonagh
Each of these contributors has unique, battle-tested advice to share about that crucial stage of any new business's life. I'd like to start the week by thanking Jacques, Iqbal, Paulina and Kevin for taking the time to write their experience up so that it can be useful to many others.
