Amazon Simple Email Service

Amazon continue on their relentless march towards being the be-all and end-all of both IaaS and PaaS with this latest offering, which will leave the likes of SendGrid and Postmark somewhat ruffled. The new price point set by Amazon is $0.10 per thousand emails sent, with 2,000 emails a day included for free if you're on EC2's free usage tier.
